Highly recommended. We have known the Rose and the Tress family for many years and, as always, were absolutely thrilled! Organic dishes at the highest level and everything regional, what more could you want. Super friendly service, everything was explained to you or briefly clarified in the kitchen. Also highly recommended for vegetarians or vegans! It was a very nice evening again and the next visit won't last 3 years. Next time we will try the Fine-Dining-1950 restaurant, sounds very interesting, not cheap but quality has its price and greed is not great. Therefore for the gigantic complete package from the Tress family FULL 5 STARS !!!

We had a great weekend in the rose. The themed rooms are a welcome change from 0815 hotel rooms, the food and the service was excellent. Exquisite breakfast. We'll be back for sure.

The food was very good, but too expensive for this service: 1. I found one service in particular to be comparatively unfriendly. I do not think that dealing with the guest is appropriate. 2. If I have to wait an hour for the food, that's borderline. But if I want to order something to drink and have to wait 10 or 15 minutes for someone to show up, even though the place is half empty, I consider that to be unacceptable at this price level. Either I just had a bad day or this place is simply overrated, sorry.

I like the newly renovated restaurant in the Rose very much. The new restaurant 1950 with sustainable dishes with a proven CO 2 balance also sounds very interesting. I'm already looking forward to the next visit and I'm curious what the TRESS team will have to offer in the future.

Very good hotel. We had one of the comfort / motto double rooms and were very enthusiastic about the room, the breakfast and the good kitchen. I can definitely recommend this location. Likewise, the Friedrichshöhle restaurant right by the Wimsener Höhle. The staff is very friendly too. 👍

Beautiful, lovingly furnished rooms. Delicious food and a rich breakfast buffet. I might have been happy about vegan spreads for breakfast, but the homemade jams are vegan and very tasty.

The organic restaurant Rose offers comfortable seating both inside and outside in a cozy, rural atmosphere. The food is beautifully prepared, fresh and tasty. There are also several vegan dishes. The staff is extremely courteous and friendly. It would be nice if there was a vegan dessert :)

We were here for the second time today and it was delicious again. The creamy polenta is phenomenally good. 😊 The taste and preparation of the vegetables and meat were great. And there is also something for the eye. The service was very friendly and knew the details of each course. In the Kartoffeltaler there was a little too much herbs 🌿, but the consistency was great. The Rose team take food to the next level. It’s the combination of the raffinesse of fine dining with authenticity, never loosing focus on the people and the awesome organic ingredients that make the difference. Check out their events, too. Any of them is worth joining.

Food top service flop. We had promised ourselves a lot from our visit to the Rose. As for the food we were not disappointed. Unfortunately, the service team had a bad day this evening. Starting with confused drinks, wrong explanations / recommendations (the nationality of the wine changed depending on the service staff, little to no knowledge of the menus offered in the menu ...) up to not possible reordering of drinks, here was nothing wrong , The food was of high quality and very appealing. Really delicious! Nevertheless, we will consider a future, further visit very well. For upscale prices you can expect a superior package.

The food and service were excellent. The rooms had solid Wood furniture according to the eco Philosophie of the family. The decor however is outdated as opposed to the very stylishly renovated Restaurant. The guest lounge in the guesthouse has suffered water damage and looks a little unloved.

Very tasty vegetarian and vegan food (not only). The rooms are a bit old but have everything you need. The breakfast buffet is unbeatable.
